Genial.ly is an online platform for creating engaging and interactive visuals, such as presentations, infographics, quizzes, and much more. This platform allows users to create interactive content, and it comes with creative animation features that can effectively capture the interest of school students.

TUTORIAL 2-Group Task (Topic 2)

Group Distribution:

  • Group 1 – BOOK CREATOR – 3 members

  • Group 2 – GEMINI AI – 3 members

  • Group 3 – LOCKER STUDIO – 2 members

  • Group 4 – POWER BI – 3 members

  • Group 5 – PADLET – 3 members

  • Group 6 – MIT APP INVENTOR – 3 members

  • Group 7 – UNITY REAL-TIME DEVELOPER – 3 members

  • Group 8 – THUNKABLE – 3 members

🎯 Task Instruction:

What are the uses of these tools in primary school education, and how can you apply them in the classroom?

Discuss within your group and use Google Slides to present your findings.
Show examples of what you can create with these tools.

TUTORIAL 3-Group Task (Topic 3)

You are required to create an interactive video explaining one or a combination of the following teacher roles in the digital era:

🔢 Group Roles:

  • Group 1 – Teacher as Learner

  • Group 2 – Teacher as Leader

  • Group 3 – Teacher as Digital Citizen

  • Group 4 – Teacher as Collaborator

  • Group 5 – Teacher as Designer

  • Group 6 – Teacher as Facilitator

  • Group 7 – Teacher as Analyst

✅ Your video must include the following elements:

  1. 🎨 Cartoon or Digital Comic Style Presentation

    • Use teacher and student characters in a realistic classroom scenario set in the digital era.

  2. 🔘 Interactive “YES” or “NO” Buttons

    • These buttons should guide viewers to the next instruction or scene depending on their answer.

    • Example:
      “Has the teacher shown the characteristics of a facilitator?”

      • YES → Show further explanation

      • NO → Show corrections or helpful tips

  3. 🗣️ Storyline or Dialogue-Based Narrative

    • Present content through a short story or scenario involving digital teaching and learning (PdP).

  4. ⏱️ Video Duration

    • Must be between 3 to 5 minutes

Use free digital tools such as:

  • Canva (Video Animation + Interactive Buttons)

  • Powtoon / Vyond (for animation)

  • H5P or Edpuzzle (for interactive Yes/No questions)
